How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2006 Mercury Mariner?

In order to service the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, remove the battery ground cable and the MAF sensor connector in the first step. Get the sensor by taking out two screws attached to it. To fit the new sensor, the screws should be tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) and then, the steps to be followed should be reversed to complete the procedure.
