How to service the Fuel Pressure Sensor on the fuel rail on 2006 Mercury Montego?

In order to service the fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor, it is safe to release the fuel system pressure. Unhook the battery ground, electrical and vacuum connections. Unscrew the sensor bolts, lubricate the O-ring around the new sensor with clean engine oil and screw the bolts back in, to a torque of 3 Nm (27lb-in).
