How to service the intake air duct on 2007 Ford Expedition?

The beginning of intake air duct servicing requires complete removal of the two bolts that secure the engine appearance cover. Start the procedure by untightening the two clamps securing the air cleaner outlet pipe and then unmount the pipe. The new air cleaner outlet pipe requires proper sealing to eliminate unusual engine sounds but it must be installed according to the alignment indicator while tightening the two clamps to 4 Nm (35 lb-in). Replace the engine appearance cover and secure it with two bolts which should be tightened to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
