Begin safety procedures by turning the pressure relief cap clockwise for one half turn only before removing it from the reservoir. Hose clamp pliers should be used to clamp the coolant return hose before using a suitable suction device to remove coolant from the degas bottle. First disconnect both the radiator overflow hose and the coolant return hose before taking out the two securing bolts on the degas bottle. You must secure the degas bottle bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) while applying Threadlock 262 on the threads before implementing the reverse step of bottle installation. Follow the process by adding coolant mixture to the specified fill level inside the degas bottle.
