To service the reversing lamp switch on a T56 transmission, make sure that the vehicle is on neutral on a hoist. Install the new connector, remove the switch and install the new switch and tighten the connector to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft) T56 or 37 Nm (27 lb-ft) T5OD. Undo the process of removal to finish.
