How to service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on 2007 Mercury Montego?

In order to maintain the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud, and unplug the battery ground cable and coolant hose retainers. Then unscrew the electrical connector and unbolt the fan motor and shroud. Installation should have the bolts tightened to 6 Nm (53 lb-in) with reversal of the removal procedure to complete the task.
