After releasing the clamp holding the air cleaner outlet pipe to the cover begin by torquing it to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) during reinstallation. Before removing the outlet pipe from the throttle body you must loosen the clamp which connects the air cleaner outlet pipe to this assembly. After reinstalling the clamp you must apply torque to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). The installation must end with a reverse order of steps after making certain the air cleaner outlet pipe forms a proper seal to avoid unmetered air entering the engine.
