How to service the sunroof or moonroof Air Deflector on 2008 Ford Escape?

Removing the sunroof or moonroof windguard: there are two roof panels that need to be fully opened. Release the air deflector by pushing it down and to the right to release the left tab and moving it left to release the right tab, lift the front to loosen the wire retainer, and then remove the deflector. Reverse to install.
