How to Service the Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2008 Ford Explorer?

To check the ambient air temperature sensor of the Mountaineer, the radiator grille has to be removed. Retainer pin-type Take out pin-type retainers, push the air deflector forward, remove the two retainers in it, and pull it off the radiator support locator pins. Unscrew the electrical connector of the sensor, then detach the sensor, and then reverse the procedure.
