How to service the power mirror actuator on 2008 Ford Explorer?

In order to service the power mirror motor the exterior mirror glass must be removed first. Next, unscrew the outer mirror motor and cut off the electrical connectors. The solution is just to reverse the action of removing it in order to reinstall. The right-hand (RH) side procedure is the same as the left-hand (LH) side.
