To install the luggage compartment lid latch, remove the 12 pin-type retainers and trim panel, disconnect the cable of the lock cylinder and the electrical connector, and take out the 3 securing nuts. Place the new latch and screw the nuts to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) and then undo the steps to install the new latch.
