How to remove and install the Center Console Base on 2008 Ford Mustang?

The first step for removing and installing the floor console involves eliminating the shift lever bezel if the vehicle has this feature. The floor console finish panel requires removal of two screws followed by application of parking brake before the finish panel can be detached. Alleviate the necessary electrical wires starting from the powerpoint connector and audio input jack connector. Uninstall the two screws from the floor console front section followed by removing the two screws from the center stack wings. Move on by removing the mat and its accompanied floor console nuts before you can unfasten the floor console unit from its position. When reinstalling the floor console simply execute the opposite steps used for disassembly.
