How to Service and Repair a Trunk Latch on 2008 Ford Taurus?

The luggage compartment lid latch is cut off by removing the trim cover before being repaired. Then disconnect the electrical connector and take out the three nuts with the latch. Install the new latch by tightening it to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Lastly, undo the steps of removing and complete the installation.
