How to service and repair the axle shaft assembly on 2008 Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service/ repair axle shaft assembly, remove cover of differential housing and rear brake disk. Take off the differential pinion shaft carefully and ensure that you do not destroy the 0-ring rubber. Install the differential pinion shaft, axle shaft, making sure that all are in place and fixed by a new lock bolt. Lastly, re-fit the differential housing cover and brake disc.
