First discard the brake caliper and brake disc from the rear while using mechanic wire to sustain the caliper position followed by sensor bolt removal to place the anti-lock sensor aside. First remove the differential housing cover along with the differential pinion shaft by starting with the lock bolt removal followed by the shaft extraction while maintaining the rubber O-ring in the axle shaft U-washer groove. Insert the axle shaft toward the inside to take out the U-washer after which you should reinstall the differential pinion shaft by moving the axle shaft outward and finger-tightening the lock bolt. Retract the axle shaft but safeguard the wheel bearing oil seal from any harm. Apply lubrication to the oil seal lip before putting in the axle shaft followed by the U-washer that should fit properly into the side gear.
