How to Service the Dome Light on 2008 Mercury Sable?

In order to maintain the dome lamp, first remove the upper console, which is done by pulling the complete unit down and unplugging the electrical connectors. To take out the lamp assembly and lens, loosen the retaining clips. Change bulbs at the back. To remove second/third row lamps, detach clips, remove connector and take away lens. Reverse to install.
