How to service and repair the door lock cylinder on 2009 Ford Edge?

In order to fix the door lock cylinder, take away the exterior handle and cover the bad cylinder. Install a lock repair package to assemble a new cylinder with the correct key code to the vehicle. Make sure it is correctly aligned with the lever, unlock the retaining Tab and repeat the steps in reverse to install.
