Commence service of the fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor by releasing fuel pressure before disconnecting the battery ground cable to minimize ignition risks. The service requires removing the intake manifold then disconnecting both fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor electrical connectors and vacuum lines. First remove the two holding bolts that fasten the sensor before extracting it out of position while discarding the old O-ring seal.
