How to Service and Repair the Neutral Safety Switch on 2009 Ford Fusion?

In order to service the Transmission Range (TR) Sensor, make sure the vehicle is in neutral. Unscrew TR sensor connector and selector lever cable. Loosen/tighten the nut and hold the manual control lever. Install TR sensor loosely and position it with tool and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm. Finally, connect the cables.
