2009 Lincoln MKS Radiator Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service the radiator on 2009 Lincoln MKS?
A: Service of the radiator starts with draining the cooling system. Start by taking off the cooling fan motor as well as its shroud and then proceed with the front bumper cover removal. The service on the radiator begins with disconnecting the upper radiator hose and lower degas bottle hose and the lower radiator hose from their connections to the radiator. First raise the tabs to take away the radiator support brackets and then place the radiator in front of the engine. The A/C condenser needs two bolts removal to split the condenser off the radiator. To reinstall the radiator follow the removal process in reverse while tightening the A/C condenser bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). Complete the cooling system filling procedure followed by performing a bleeding process.
