How to service and repair the inner tie rod on 2009 Lincoln MKS?

To service the inner tie rod place the vehicle on a hoist and loosen the tie-rod jam nut. Take off the outer tie-rod end and bellows boot and then take off the inner tie rod using a crowfoot. Centering the steering gear, greasing it, and tightening all parts to required torque is also a part of the reinstallation. Adjust front toe as needed.
