How to service and repair the alternator on 2009 Lincoln Town Car?

To maintain the alternator de-energize the battery and remove engine cover nut, and place accessory drive belt aside. Disassemble the connector of the generator, nut of the B+ terminal and the generator bracket bolts. To remove the generator bolts, loosen them then repeat the process to install them (tightening as required).
