How to service the radiator cooling fan motor on Ford Contour?

In order to service the radiator cooling fan motor, the battery should be removed, the vehicle should be raised and the radiator splash shield removed. Disassemble the fan resistor, the motor electrical connectors and take out the motor, fans, and shroud assembly. To install, undo the steps of removing.
