How to service and repair the turn signal switch on Ford Contour?

The turn signal switch can be serviced and repaired by taking away the lower shroud of the steering column and then the upper shroud. To remove the switch, simply disconnect the electrical connectors on the multifunction switch and then pull out the retaining clip. To install, just switch these steps.
