How to service the blower motor on Ford Crown Victoria?

Disconnection of blower motor electrical connector must occur as the first service step. The next step requires removal of the wire harness pin-type retainer above the blower motor and the blower motor vent tube. The blower motor requires four screws to be disassembled before the motor unit can be removed safely. You should clean away all corrosive substances from the blower motor shaft before taking out a reusable wheel to protect the wheel mounting shaft from damage. Remove the blower motor wheel clip and afterward remove the blower motor wheel. The reverse procedure of removal will complete the installation process.
