The service of the front fender begins with removing the radiator grille opening panel reinforcement part 8A284. The splash shield maintenance begins with unscrewing the bolts near the bottom of the front fender. Open the front door while disconnecting the fender-to-cowl side brackets by removing retaining bolts and lower rear fender securing bolt together with its shims. Proceed with screw removal of the front fender-to-radiator support retaining screw before extracting the screws used for mounting the front fender onto the front end stone deflector. Close the procedure by removing the front fender (16005) after unfastening its front fender-to-fender upper apron retaining screws. Installation of the front fender begins by reversing the steps used for removal.
