Service for the hood latch begins by taking off both pin-type retainers and the radiator sight shield. Take out the hood latch by uninstalling the bolts and the screw followed by disconnecting the cable. While installing the assembly follow the opposite order of removal steps then lower the hood to verify correct positioning of the latch.
