How to service the hood latch on Ford E-150?

To service the hood latch, identify its position, take out bolts and place the latch aside. Unplug and pull off the release cable, then get off the latch. Installation Re-install by reversing the removal, adjusting the bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb-in). Lastly, close the hood to make sure the latches are in place.
