Service of the front door window motor begins by first removing the front door trim panel followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. When using a drift to take out rivet center pins from the door inner panel maintain strict control over the sheet metal hole dimensions. The window regulator electric drive bracket should be detached from the inner panel by drilling out its rivets using a 1/4-inch diameter drill. Remove the window regulator motor bracket from the inner panel before taking out screws that separate the window regulator electric drive from both its bracket and cable drum. As the last step remove the window regulator electric drive. The process ends with executing the reverse order of step-by-step removal.
