To service the automatic transmission shifter, the instrument panel cluster finish panel is removed, and then ignition switch lock cylinder is removed by pressing the release tab. Then, take the upper steering column shroud off and unplug steering transmission range selecting lever. You must always install a new selector lever pin before reversing the process of removal to re-install.
