How to service and repair the hood latch on Ford E-250?

In order to service the hood latch, remove the pin-type retainers and radiator sight shield first. Then unscrew the bolts and break the connection with the cable by removing the latch. To install, reverse the steps and make the hood lower so that the latch is in place.
