How to Service and Repair the Release Hood Cable on Ford Escort?

In order to fix the hood cable you need to open the hood latch and unscrew the control handle off the steering column cover. Take off the front fender splash shield and take off the clips. Install a new cable and make sure to fasten the cable to the instrument panel, reconnect the splash shield and hood latch.
