Service and repair of the rear cross-member starts with taking out the rear stabilizer bar while also unmounting the two rear brake hose support brackets followed by disconnecting the hose. The 3-way connector bolt needs removal first with a notation made about the alignment between shims before their complete extraction along with the respective bolts. Set a jack beneath the rear floor cross member before you remove its four bolts that secure the crossmember. Disconnect the rear suspension arm and bushing by first removing their front nut and front bolt respectively. Lower the rear floor cross member first then remove the part from the vehicle. When installing the parts work with a High Lift Transmission Jack to lift the
Spindle until both suspension arms rest horizontally with the ground before securing the bolts at their indicated torque setting. To finish the installation proceed with the rear alignment check and needed adjustments while following the reversed removal process.
