How to service and repair the throttle cable and linkage on Ford Escort?

To service the throttle cable, unplug the accelerator cable of throttle control lever and bracket. Take the retaining clips and bolts off to pull down the accelerator pedal and shaft then disconnect the cable. Last but not least, remove the cable in the bulkhead. Installation Reverse the steps and adjust accordingly.
