How to Service and Repair the Tailgate Handle on Ford Explorer Sport?

You should start tailgate handle servicing by removing the tailgate trim panel through the removal of screws and pin-type retainers. Remove the tailgate latch actuating rods from the remote control by opening the clips to detach the rods. Remove the nuts holding the remote-control of the tailgate first and follow with removal of the handle for the tailgate. Keep all required parts while disassembling. Install the system by following the opposite order of uninstallation.
