How to service the Throttle Position Sensor on Ford Explorer Sport?

The fastening procedure to access the Throttle Position Sensor starts with removing the accelerator control snow shield. Unplug the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector before using a socket wrench to remove the sensor bolts. After unplugging the electrical connector you can take out the sensor. Installation of the new sensor requires performing the opposite steps of the removal process to secure it properly.
