How to service the thermostat housing on a 4.0L SOHC engine on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

To service thermostat housing on a 4.0L SOHC engine, drain the cooling system, disconnect ECT sensor, upper radiator hose and heater hose. Unscrew the thermostat housing bolts, screw the new housing and O-ring seal with 11 Nm torque and unscrew the installation to complete.
