Beginning repair and servicing of the air cleaner fresh air duct/hose requires the removal of the air cleaner element. Begin by removing the intake pipe support bracket nut and tighten it to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) when reattaching it. Lower the locking tab on the air cleaner intake pipe from its assembly opening and after that remove the air cleaner intake pipe assembly. The air cleaner intake pipe requires a proper and sealed installation to block unusual engine sounds from occurring. The completion of installation requires following the steps used for removal in the opposite order.
