How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on Ford Five Hundred?

Service of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor requires disconnecting the battery cable followed by removing the MAF sensor connector. The MAF sensor can be removed after you unscrew its two retaining screws. Tighten the screws of the new sensor to 2 Nm (18 lb-in) during installation before reattaching in the reverse order of removal.
