How to service the power mirror switch on Ford Five Hundred?

In order to remove the power mirror switch, the exterior mirror trim cover must be removed in the front door first. Next, unconnect the mirror control switch electrical connector. To disassemble the control switch press the locking tabs. Installation is as easy as a reversal of the removal.
