How to Service the Antenna Cable on Ford Flex?

Service of the antenna lead-in cable requires removal of the Audio Control Module (ACM) first. Reach the antenna connector at the right-hand kick panel after moving aside the carpet then disconnect it. Full open the glove compartment after which you must pull out the push pins to extract the AM/FM antenna cable. The installation process requires following the opposite order of removal steps. Service operations on the rear antenna cable require cutting the ends and taping them for NVH prevention until installation of a new cable with proper wiring harness mounting which avoids insulation damage.
