How to service the Dome Light on Ford Flex?

The first step for dome lamp servicing includes pulling down on the rear section of the overhead console which will detach it from its retaining clips without touching the front part. The electrical connectors need disconnecting before you remove the lamp assembly by releasing the four retaining clips. It is possible to remove the lamp assembly lens through six retaining clips then replace the bulb(s) by accessing them from behind. Taking out the interior lamp requires disconnecting the electrical connector after removing the two retaining clips from their holes. The complete installation of interior lamps requires performing the removal steps backward.
