In order to install the LH exhaust manifold, a replacement, disconnect the LH catalyst converter and HO2S, and then the heat shield bolts and manifold nuts. Wipe off the non-metallic surfaces, remove old studs and mount new ones. Tighten, to specs, the heat shield, HO2S and catalytic converter.

To install the replacement right-hand exhaust and replace the right-hand exhaust manifold, take out the RH catalytic converter and HO2S connector. Dump the six nuts and gasket, clean the manifold without sharp tools and scrape the studs off. Fit new studs and nuts, fitting in parts. Reattach the HO2S and attach the catalytic converter.
