How to service and repair the vacuum brake booster on Ford Freestyle?

Removal of the brake master cylinder followed by disconnection of the vacuum fitting, is required to service the vacuum brake booster. Unscrew the self-locking pin and booster rod and unscrew the brake booster. Install the new booster, tightening to 25 Nm (18 lb- ft) and reverse the steps to install.
