  A proper service of the front door window regulator and motor starts with door trim panel and water shield removal and then moving to the front door speaker removal. Start by taking off the access hole cover and cut the power connection to the two door latches. You should disconnect the door lock and power mirror electrical connectors along with the keyless entry keypad when these components apply. After removing each clip the service technician should disconnect all door latch components as well as door lock linkages. The first step involves disconnecting the window motor electrical connector plus setting the wiring harness aside while detaching the four wiring harness retainers and grommet then pushing the grommet through the opening into the door panel. The interior door handle bolt needs removal followed by its placement along with tightening of the handle to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) before installing back. To access the glass clamp bolts through back access and front door speaker openings you need to lower the window because the window regulator motor is not working. The clamp bolts on both the B-pillar and A-pillar of the front door window glass need to be loosened then tightened to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during reinstallation. Position tape on the window before lowering the window regulator until it reaches the bottom points of regulator tracks. First remove 11 bolts from the door module then tighten them to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) before reinstalling and afterward remove three door latch screws that need to be tightened to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Proceed by disconnecting the six wiring harness retainers and two connector retainers located at the inside of the door module before pulling the wiring harness through it to remove the front door module as needed for new part installation. The installation process requires reverse steps of removal procedures and new LH front window motor must receive initialization before de-initializing followed by initialization of the original LH front window motor.
