How to service the Wiper Pivot and mounting arm on Ford Freestyle?

Prior to servicing the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assemble one must disconnect the wiper pivot arms and the cowl panel grille. First disconnect the electrical connector before taking out the three bolts which connect the wiper mounting arm and wiper pivot shaft assembly. Perform the reinstall by following the reverse order of removal steps then adjust the wiper pivot arms before tightening the bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
