Service of the front fender starts with unrestraining the
Antenna Base on the right-hand fender by removing the antenna base cap, unscrewing screws and separating the
Antenna Cable connecting to base. The service begins by stripping off both the front
Bumper cover and its screw and two pin-type retainers and front rocker panel molding. The fender splash shield screw needs removal before putting the splash shield to one side. The procedure begins with uninstalling the lower fender bolts and removing shims as an additional step if they exist and continuing with installing inner fender bolts by using the door opening. Successively remove the bolts which attach the radiator grille opening panel to the fender then proceed with separating the fender using the upper bolts. For reinstallation allow the antenna cable to pass through the fender opening on the right-hand side before performing the removal process in reverse order. Examine the fender alignment before performing any needed alignments.
