Do not attempt to service the glass top of the door without first removing the glass top. Next remove the inside and outside front door beltline weather-strips. Then take off the bolt of the door glass top run and then the top run. Installation is easy, just reverse the procedures followed in removal.

How to service and repair the door glass upper Window Run on Ford Ranger?

Service the door glass top run requires removal of the front door window glass and top/bottom center door glass run retainer nuts, fitting them with an 9 Nm tightening. Installation: remove center door glass run, weather strips, and top run bolt and tighten it to 12 Nm. Un-do it to finish.
