How to remove and reinstall the front Center Console Base on Ford Taurus?

To complete this step, remove the front floor console, remove the trim panel and selected lever trim, unscrew two screws that connect the console to the instrument panel and take the left and right trim panel away. Then remove front bolts, adjust seats to reach rear bolts, remove three electrical connectors and remove console. Undo with a reversal of these operations.

How to service the Center Console Base on Ford Taurus?

To maintain the floor console, simply remove, the CD changer (when available) and storage bin along with its mat. Attach the four bolts which hold the console, tightening them to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) when re-attached. Take out the finish panel followed by putting the console back in the same order.
