How to remove and reinstall the front Center Console Base on Ford Taurus?

Beginning with console removal you should remove the selector lever trim ring followed by taking off the floor console finish panel. Unscrew the two screws connecting the floor console to the instrument panel then tighten them to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) when installing back. Push the floor console trim panels out evenly while using 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) to fasten Dylock pads in front of the panels during restoratio First move the front seats forward before removing the two bolts from the floor console. Reach around from behind to take out the two bolts from the rear section of the console. To access the floor console you need to unplug its three electric links before you take it out. To set up the console you must perform the opposite steps from removal.
