How to Service and Repair the Sunroof or Moonroof Weather Strip on Ford Taurus?

The repair and servicing process of sunroof or moonroof weather stripping requires removal of the roof opening panel glass first. Uninstall the glass weather strip of the roof opening panel. Set the new weather strip onto the glass assembly so its splice rests on the passenger side. Work from the corners to embed the weather strip around the glass assembly while using a plastic hammer if necessary to achieve full installation. Reinstall the roof opening panel glass as the last step.
