How to service the thermostat housing on Ford Taurus X?

To service thermostat housing, drain cooling system, detach air cleaner outlet pipe, five coolant hoses. Take off the three bolts making sure that the bolts are tightened to 10 Nm when fitting. Service is complete by changing O-ring seals, lubricating with coolant and filling the cooling system up.
